The Usual Suspects: Turf One
![]() Turf is a Parisian-bred, Montreal-based artist. He started doing graffiti in Paris in the late eighties. In the early nineties, he specialized in characters. He likes to paint characters interacting with old decaying architectures and to use any kind of junk that he can put his (therefore dirty) hands on as supports for his paintings. ![]() Figures on the left by Other, figure on the right by Turf One. ![]() Where to find his stuff in the city: abandoned buildings, back alleys and mostly weird and shady locations... Online, you can find Turf One's canvases and some street work at Turfizm. ![]() ![]() ![]() [email this story] Posted by Emily Raine on 02/23 at 12:04 AM
